Increasing the effectiveness of research activities at the departments, widely involving youth in scientific activity, establishing new scientific schools and new scientific directions
Increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of the scientific research activity of the university’s professors and teachers, strengthening the scientific potential of the university, further developing science in higher education
Clearly defining priority directions in the field of science and activating fundamental and applied research in such fields as mathematics, chemistry, biology, participating in targeted grant competitions for fundamental and innovative research in the field of science
Increasing the number of scientists, professors and teachers, as well as young researchers with a high “Hirsh” index (h-index), which determines international recognition, and introducing a system of their material encouragement
Publishing the results of scientific research works in republican and international scientific journals and increasing their citation rates
Increasing the effectiveness of the activity of the institute of postgraduate education in preparing highly qualified scientific and scientific-pedagogical personnel at the university, submitting proposals to the Ministry of Higher Education on opening new specialties
Improving the activity of postgraduate education institutes at the university based on foreign experience, aligning the system of scientific councils and defenses with international practice
Forming topics of doctoral dissertations based on fundamental and applied problems as well as existing problems of organizations and enterprises
Organizing the sending of doctoral students and young scientists to foreign universities and scientific centers for internships
Regularly discussing the research works carried out by base doctoral students (PhD) and doctoral students (DSc) on their dissertations at department meetings, Faculty Academic Council, Scientific-Technical Council and the University Council
In order to increase the effectiveness of training highly qualified scientific and pedagogical personnel:
Creating conditions for young scientists, base doctoral students (PhD) and doctoral students (DSc) to use the internet network, republican and foreign electronic library services
Implementing into practice the developments of talented youth, master’s students, base doctoral students (PhD), doctoral students (DSc) actively engaged in research work, ensuring their participation in republican and foreign conferences and assisting in publishing their articles
Creating access opportunities for professors and teachers, doctoral students and students of higher education institutions to the international scientific and technical databases Scopus and ScienceDirect, creating the information and methodological support system of the “Ilm-fan - 2020” program and ensuring its continuous support
Providing higher education institutions with computer and information-communication technologies, tools for electronic educational resources, including the use of the internet network, modern educational-laboratory equipment and educational-methodical literature, supporting and stimulating research and innovation activities, forming and developing modern scientific laboratories of the higher education institution
Developing and implementing measures to identify talented students, encourage them, increase their interest in research activities, improve the work of student scientific societies, design bureaus and clubs at departments, and the “Young Scientists” council
Developing, approving and implementing regulatory legal documents for sending talented students to leading foreign educational institutions to gain experience, establishing special scholarships for them, organizing competitions among students
Creating a system for financing small startup projects
Participating in international and republican grants, scientific projects and other various competitions, as well as increasing by 2 times compared to the previous year the funds received by the university on the basis of economic contracts for research works
Creating advanced and innovative developments, technological projects and startups taking into account the existing resource base and potential of the regions
Establishing mutually beneficial innovative cooperation with research institutions, production and other organizations
Ensuring the gradual inclusion of the university’s scientific journals into international scientific and technical databases
