- Improving the effectiveness of research work at the departments, the wide involvement of young people in scientific activities, the establishment of new scientific schools and new scientific directions
- Improving the efficiency and effectiveness of research activities of university professors, strengthening the scientific potential of the university, further development of science in higher education
- Clearly define priorities in science and intensify fundamental and applied research in areas such as mathematics, chemistry, biology, participate in targeted grant competitions for fundamental and innovative research in science
- Increase the number of scientists, professors and young researchers with a high Hirsch index (h-index), which is an indicator of international recognition, and the introduction of a system of financial incentives
- Publication of the results of scientific research in national and international scientific journals and increase of citations to them
- To submit proposals to the Ministry of Higher Education on improving the efficiency of the institute of postgraduate education in the training of highly qualified scientific and scientific-pedagogical staff at the University, the opening of new specialties
- Improving the activities of postgraduate education institutions at the University on the basis of foreign experience, harmonization of the system of scientific councils and defenses with international experience
- Formation of doctoral dissertation topics on the basis of fundamental and practical problems and existing problems of organizations and enterprises
- Organization of internships for doctoral students and young scientists in foreign universities and research centers
- Regular discussion of research work on the dissertations of basic doctoral students (PhD) and doctoral students (DSc) at meetings of the department, the Academic Council of the faculty, the Scientific and Technical Council and the University Council
- To increase the effectiveness of training highly qualified scientific and pedagogical staff:
- Creation of conditions for young scientists, basic doctoral students (PhD) and doctoral students (DSc) to use the Internet, the services of national and foreign electronic libraries;
- Implement the development of talented young people, masters, basic doctoral students (PhD), doctoral students (DSc) who are actively involved in research, ensure their participation in national and international conferences and promote the publication of articles;
- Provide access to Scopus and ScienceDirect international scientific and technical databases for professors, doctoral students and students of higher education institutions. Creating a system of information and methodological support of the program "Science 2020" and ensuring its continuous support
- Provision of higher education institutions with computer and information and communication technologies, tools for electronic educational resources, including the use of the Internet, modern teaching and laboratory equipment and teaching materials, scientific - support and encouragement of research and innovation activities, formation and development of modern scientific laboratories of higher education institutions.
- Development and implementation of measures to find talented students, encourage them, increase their interest in research, improve the work of the student scientific community, design bureaus and clubs, the Council of "Young Scientists"
- Development and approval and implementation of normative and legal documents for talented students to gain experience in leading foreign educational institutions, the establishment of special scholarships for them, the organization of competitions among students.
- Creating a system of financing small startup projects
- Participation in international and national grants, research projects and various other competitions, as well as doubling the funds received by the university for research under economic contracts compared to the previous year
- Creation of advanced and innovative developments, technological projects and startups, taking into account the existing resource base and potential of the regions
- Establish mutually beneficial innovative cooperation with research and production institutions and other organizations
- Ensuring the gradual inclusion of university scientific journals in the international scientific and technical database
